Each month, JJVBMC holds a virtual monthly family day – a day to celebrate and promote family recovery.

For this month, the program was highlighted with psychoeducation straight from our CEO, Mr. Jerry Joseph C. Valderrama, ICAP II, RS who discussed codependency. The psychoeducation provided the families a safe space where they were able to explore and discuss an understanding of the dynamics of a codependent relationship.

The program was wrapped up with the values of understanding, sharing of personal experience, and hopefulness. Indeed, through the unwavering openness and support from the families, the process of collaborative partnership in recovery will be strengthened, cultivating change and nurturing hope not only for the person in recovery but in their families as well.

The event was facilitated by Ms. Faucet Eve A. Parba.
